Furniture / Signage
This case at a former Silver Lotus location in the Forks provided a display area for jewelry, accommodated employees and gave them a vantage point over the entire room, and acted as a dynamic centrepiece for the space.
This Silver Lotus display case shows off jewelry and works as a piece of jewelry itself.
The design also exploited the inherent richness of natural wood. We chose clear stains that brought out the textures and colours of two different species , the dark Australian lacewood and blond amata.

Display cases and furniture
We have designed several successful display cases as part of our partnership with Silver Lotus and Rooster boutiques. All of these are designed to display the products in them at their very best; to be warm and engaging to the eye and hand; and appeal as sculptural objects in their own right.
Like our display cases and our architectural work, our furniture favours natural materials and bold, dynamic forms. While sensitive to design traditions, we try to invent a new take on them - tailored to our clients' tastes and resources.
For the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Festival 2008, we created this marker to advertise the festival while animating the street in front of the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Designed in concert with David Penner, Architect and the Festival Marker Committee.
An ephemeral landmark, the marker lit up the streetscape at night. Designed in concert with David Penner, Architect and the Festival Marker Committee.
We like weathering steel for its great feeling of patina and texture. We felt it went well with Silver Lotus' mix of the exotic and the unique, so we chose it as the material for the main sign we designed at their new location, 103 Osborne.

Signage
We have created signage and street displays for several clients as stand-alone projects and as part of larger architectural designs. Our priorites are to communicate, engage the viewer, and reflect the character of the client business or institution.
